CABBAGE juice for Stomach ulcer.

By definition, an ulcer is erosion on any body surface – the skin or mucous membranes that line the hollow organs. When people use this word, they usually refer to stomach ulcers, in which case crater-like lesions occur in the stomach or duodenum (first part of the small intestine). However, ulcers can occur anywhere: in the gastrointestinal tract, on the mouth and at the anus. Let’s start with the mouth. Cancer sores (aphthous ulcers) are the most common problem. These small painful wounds usually heal within seven to ten days. The problem often begins with gastritis, inflammation of the stomach. The causes include alcohol abuse, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and infection with Helicobacter pylori bacteria. If an ulcer develops, signs of bleeding include black, tarry stools, red blood in the stool, or bloody vomiting. Helicobacter pylori is now considered the leading cause of stomach ulcers. The bacterium is present in the majority of people with ulcers. However, only 20% of people infected with Helicobacter pylori develop ulcers. Clearly, other factors contribute. Cabbage Juice Cabbage juice is a long-standing traditional medicine against stomach ulcers. Look for a ½ head of white cabbage, wash and cut in small pieces. Put this cabbage with ½ of water in the blender and mix well this mixture. Then filter or squeeze the mixture, drink ½ glass up to 3 times a day. Store the unused rest in the refrigerator and discard after 24 hours. How it works: In the 1950s, Cheney and his colleagues conducted a study of inmates at San Quentin Prison, which showed an improvement in the healing of peptic ulcers from cabbage juice. Research has shown that fresh white cabbage juice stimulates the immune system and contains glutamine, an amino acid that can improve the protective lining of the stomach.
